PT Globe Kita Terang Tbk was established in 2007, with the initial name PT Pro Empower Perkasa. Along with the growth of the Company's business activities in the telecommunications industry, the Company changed its name to PT Global Teleshop in 2011 and in 2012, the Company conducted an initial public offering on the Indonesian Stock Exchange under the code "GLOB" and changed its name to PT Global Teleshop Tbk and later in 2021 changed its name to PT Globe Kita Terang Tbk.
The Company trades products of telecommunications device including cellular phones and accessories from various well-known brands. The Company also provides various complementary products for cellular phones, including simcards and vouchers, both physical and electronic from leading operators. In 2020, the Company diversifies its products by exploring lifestyle products that are popular in the market, especially coffee machines and coffee beans.
